The new YA novel Graham’s Charlotte by Drew Farnsworth was the 2013 Grand Champion of Columbus Creative Cooperative’s Great Novel Contest. The contest was judged by literary agent Terra Chalberg of Chalberg & Sussman and received a publishing contract through Columbus Press. Columbus Press uses the same team of editors, designers and marketing consultants that are available to all of Columbus Publishing Lab’s clients.
Graham’s Charlotte was put through a rigorous developmental editing process by editor Brad Pauquette to ensure character development, narrative arc and other elements of the story were reader-ready. The book was also professionally copy edited to correct any grammar or punctuation errors. A team of proofreaders gave the book a final check before it went to print. With Columbus Publishing Lab, our clients receive the same editing services as books published through a traditional publisher.
A Columbus Publishing Lab designer provided the interior design to ready the book for both print and e-book markets. (The cover design was provided by a third party.)
With any new book, promotion is important. Columbus Press chose our team to help with various marketing components to make sure Graham’s Charlotte got the attention it deserved. We helped come up with a marketing plan, to make sure everyone’s efforts stayed on track. That plan incorporated promotional print materials, social media implementation and a website. Columbus Publishing Lab assisted with each facet of the marketing plan.
A professional website can be an invaluable tool for authors. Our web development team created a book website especially for Graham’s Charlotte. Find it here at- grahamscharlottebook.com
The paperback book and e-book are now available on Amazon.com, as well as all other major e-book distributors.
